Natsuoka Karate was invited to participate in both the Seikikai Winter 2024 Karate Tournament held at the Etobicoke Olympium on February 17th and the University of Toronto Karate Tournament held on February 24th.

We ring in the new year in the dojo every year by wearing our white belts to the first class. This year, Natsuoka Annex Dojo held its white belt class on January 3rd and the Natsuoka TMU Dojo held its white belt class on January 8th.

On Sunday November 19th, the TMU Karate Club participated in the University of Toronto Invitational Karate Seminar. From 9am until 2pm, we were punching and kicking with our karate friends from the University of Toronto and McMaster University.

On Saturday October 21st, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) joined competitors from across southern Ontario for the Fall 2023 Seikikai Karate Invitational Tournament. Our student, faculty and graduate athletes at TMU and Natsuoka Karate brought home 15 medals in total – a strong showing for our first tournament!
